I started with Shannan because I have tried ALL the things and my next step would have been gastric bypass, which I do not want to do. The accountability that I get from Shannan is amazing and what keeps me going day to day. I don’t feel restricted, deprived and not constantly counting points/calories anymore and it’s very freeing, something I feel I can do lifelong. Is it always easy, no, but if losing weight was easy, we all would be where we want to be. It takes work and the mindset to do it but if you are willing, this is the best plan I’ve done sofar.

Shannan makes you think about the reasons behind the choices you make, either good/bad, and you learn from them and really look at your future self and what you want that person to act/look like. I look forward to my meetings every week, I have a very full social calendar, and she has helped plan ahead and prepare so I don’t walk into that said event without a protocol and the right thoughts in my head.

In 2021, I had been experiencing major health issues regarding angioedema, gut issues, and major inflammation. After many lab tests, medical doctors, and frustration, I decided to take my health and internal body seriously.

She helped me realize I was worth treating my body as the amazing, life sustaining, delicate but tough, temple it is. She has been there for me when I didn’t think it was possible to continue. Her descriptions of what was happening in my brain, helped me understand my own feelings.

After years of unanswered questions, tests, and inaccurate conclusions, my doctor finally diagnosed me with Lupus in January 2023. With this came a long list of medications that would be required to suppress my disease, as well as my immune system.
