Shannan is an Oklahoma Licensed, Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She attended the PA program at the University of Oklahoma. Shannan graduated the program with honors and received a Master of Health Science. She has had the privilege of helping and
supporting many patients over the last 20 years as a PA.
Shannan has worked in the practice areas of General and Vascular Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, and Men
and Women’s Health.
Throughout her career, she has noticed the need for personalized coaching to achieve exceptional and long-lasting results with
her patients.
To pursue this skillset, Shannan became certified through the Health and Wellness Coach Program at the Mayo Clinic.
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Shannan Carmouche PA-C for almost 6 years. She received her original post graduate education at the University of Oklahoma’s College of Medicine Physician’s Assistant Program. Most recently Ms. Carmouche has extended her knowledge base extensively further learning and developing expertise in nutrition, gynecology, hormonal medicine, endocrinology, regenerative medicine, internal medicine and reproductive tract surgery.
While professional measures help describe someone they do not fill in the complete picture. This is particularly true in the case of Ms. Carmouche. Her indelible personal touch with each individual she works with is unique in these times. This ability to form positive relationships with so many of varied backgrounds, educations and cultures stands out amongst the many clinicians I have worked with over the last 4 decades. She makes the hardest part of medicine, getting to know and bond with the patient, look effortless.
